Here’s what’s in store for the camps…

Small Camper-to-Guide ratio
This format gives your child direct access to guides and a greater opportunity to refine their ideas.

Essential 21st-century skills
As your child immerses themselves into making, they’ll also develop Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Creativity.

Access to tools and technology
Design, woodworking, simulation, rapid prototyping and more are all available to your camper at our shop!
3-DAY CAMPS
Join us for 3 days of making.
Sign up with a sibling or friend and get 10% off the second registration!
Frequently Asked Questions
Absolutely. As long as it can fit through our doors and yours (and they have your approval).
No. Once you sign up, your child gets free access to our tools and equipment during their stay at the camp.
Note: For safety reasons, some of our tools are restricted for older kids (ages 11+).
We manually consider which items will be allowed and whether such items are needed for the child’s project. Please call ahead to check with us.
There will be no need to stay with your child. You can drop them off at BitSpace and we’ll take care of the rest!
We will refund you in full if you’ve cancelled your registration at least 30 days before your camp starts. Beyond this time, we will no longer issue any refunds except for COVID-related reasons.
If you are cancelling to switch to a different camp date, please email us at info@bitspacechicago.com so we can assist you.
Campers don’t need to have a specific product idea to join the camp. Part of what we do is to help them generate and refine their ideas as we dive into making.
If your child is showing signs of interest in taking things apart or testing the limits of what they are trying to do at home, then they’re more than ready for our camp!
They have as much agency as an architect would have when asked to design a museum. Their ideas are 100% their own but within the container of a conceptual topic.
